YOUNG ADULT GROUP
Members of the young adult group gathered at June 2021 cookout!
Building the Kingdom at St. Mary and in Dayton, Ohio.
Who We Are:
The St. Mary of the Assumption Young Adult Group is for those in their 20’s and 30’s looking for new ways to grow in their faith, build fellowship with others their age with similar ideals, or for those just searching in their faith and need a place to be right now! It is open to parishioners and non-parishioners alike.
When We Meet:
We meet on Tuesday evenings, from about 6:30-8:30 pm. We start downstairs in the Parish Center for fellowship from 6:45-7:00, before moving to our topic or prayer for the evening. Depending on our schedule, we usually wrap up around 8 or 8:30.
What We Do:
We alternate between a Bible/book study, and a weekly Rosary offered for any prayer intentions. For more information about what we are currently studying, contact youth and young adult minister Jeffrey Kremer.
Past studies include:
Mark Madness ... Reading and reflecting on the Gospel of Mark
Radiate Christ, Archbishop Schnurr’s pastoral letter for the 200th anniversary of the archdiocese.
Marian Consecration in June 2021.
Called & Gifted, a series on the spiritual gifts
New to the parish?
Consider joining us for one of our weekly Tuesday meetings. Also feel free to reach out and contact me. I'm happy to hear about your experience in the Church, in young adult ministry, or what you're looking for at St. Mary!
Jeffrey Kremer -- Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministry
“The world in which we live is not the world as God intended it to be. It is hurting; it needs hope. Let us more fully open ourselves to Jesus. Let us welcome Him into our lives so that He can work through our lives. Let us be witnesses. Let us radiate Christ.” Archbishop Dennis Schnurr, Radiate Christ.
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” ~ Matthew 5:16
