COVID-19, For Teens

Intro:

AHHHHH! With all of this coronavirus stuff going on, we’ve got all sorts of emotions to work through. Boredom, frustration, anxiety, fear, loneliness. But we also can take heart that the Lord is Emmanuel, with us through it all. During this time of pandemic, we want our youth ministry to be a place where you can take heart and remember that in all of life’s storms, Jesus is with us, never leaving us to face our fears alone. We’re offering the following opportunities and resources for teens during this time.

Our goal is to give everyone a place where they can meet with friends, share life, pray together, and reflect on how God is working in our lives. I highly encourage everyone to try out these opportunities and make the most of this time to turn to God in renewed faith and prayer.

Virtual Small Groups:

As long as schools are out of session, St. Mary’s youth ministry is planning on meeting remotely, using Zoom. Small groups are offered for 7th grade, 8th grade, and high school; these will focus on the Sunday readings. On Wednesday evening, we will offer a group for high school that focuses on Catholic Apologetics. On Thursday afternoon, any teens in grades 7-12 can join us in praying the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary.

Here’s when our small groups for each grade are offered!
