Catechists
Attention Potential Catechists!
At the end of Matthew's Gospel, Jesus tells his apostles, "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations." All of us are called to take up Jesus's mission in some way. One major way we do this in our parishes is through religious education. Our ministry staff is always on the lookout for mature disciples who want to serve in children's and youth ministry.
There are two main criteria:
a.) you are invested in your own faith.
b.) you have a desire to share your faith with others.
Each ministry has specific areas of responsibility, but they basically fall into those categories. All catechists/leaders need to complete and stay updated with Safe Parish training.
Here are our current needs, as of July 2022:
